My New Layout

A blogger friend announced that she has a spare domains, I immediately asked her if it is still available to grab because I wanted to transfer my other blog from blogger to wordpress. The only blog that was left after I transferred my other blogs to wordpress. It was a blessing because I got the domain and successfully transferring the remaining blog I have under blogger. After transferring, I contacted my favorite blogger who does the layout of my other blogs. I love her work so I wanted her to make layout for this blog.

Two weeks after I messaged her, she emailed me the new layout last night. Because I am so excited, I installed it right away to see the new look of this blog. I am happy because once more she made my blog beautiful and appealing. It made me smile after seeing the layout of this blog. It motivates me to write more updates in this blog. This is how the layout helps a blogger to constantly update it. I’ll be writing more updates for this blog to give me bunch of blessings.

Way to go for this blog. I will do my hardest to keep this blog updated.

La, la, la…Love Month

February is the month wherein we celebrates Valentines Day. It is also called the love month. Some establishments, school buildings, on the street, malls and in the areas where people usually go, are putting hearts decorations. As they say, let us paint the town red. You will be surrounded by different style of hearts, red flowers, stuffed toys and the likes. I went to the mall two days ago and I can see different decorations of heart. I can tell that the mall is so red because of the decorations for the Valentines day. I definitely feel that the love is really in the air on this month.

La, la, la…love month indeed! There are several items at the malls that are on sale. Items that people can give as present to their love ones and special someone on Valentines day. Most common presents that are usually given are the red roses, stuffed toy that is hugging a small heart or that has heart decoration in front, heart shape chocolates, and pillows. These are the things that are on sale because it is in demand on this love month. Well, red roses are still there but not on sale because it is best to five the real one to our love ones. And also the balloon with heart decorations and shape. This month is considered to be the salable month for those who are selling the items I have mentioned above.

So, on this love month, give your love one and special someone the best present they would love to receive. And if ever you haven’t decided of what to give yet, try to consider the items I have mentioned above.

My lucky month is about to end

I considered my birth month to be my lucky month. Why? Simply because I was born on this month. haha! Also, I am lucky this month for I won again a giveaway that was hosted by a blogger friend. Well, the giveaway was ended on last December of 2011, and the announcement was on the last week of December. The prize that I won arrives on the first week of January 2012. Lucky right? First month of the year and I got money to put in the bank. Woohoo! I used some of the money that I won to buy foods when I celebrated my birthday.

My luck is still on my side I must say. Last year was a blast for me because I won several prizes from the giveaways and contests that I have joined in the blogosphere. Well, all the years of my life was lucky and even more luckier last year because of the several winnings. I have enjoyed joining giveaways and contest lately. I am so motivated to join because I won and several times already. I will probably be joining again and again because I can still feel the luck on my side.

Now that my lucky month was about to end, I wish that I still be lucky when the month of February sits in. More giveaways and contests to join for sure and I pray for more winning as well.

Yesterday was my special day. I turned 33 years old yesterday and I am so happy because I woke up with greetings from my nieces, nephew, and the whole family. I am so touched because of the the kids gesture. It made me smile and made my day so happy. The kids are asking if I am going to buy cake, ice cream and food for my birthday. They are so curious I can tell but I haven’t tell them what is my plan. I just act as if it is an ordinary day for me. It is because I wanted to surprise the whole family on my special day. I have already listed that things that I will buy and cook for the family. I do not have plans for throwing a party, just a simple dinner at home with the family.

My simple birthday celebration was a blast because the whole family is there and wishing me good luck and good health. Also, I am so thankful that they like my simple preparation for them. Just a little sad because my younger brother is not there to celebrate with us. I hope my brother will be home on my next birthday. We miss him very much.

Before I forgot, I also wanted to extend my thank you to all of my friends online and offline for the birthday greetings. Thank you so much girls.

I am turning 33

Few more days and I will be turning 33. Yes, another year will be added to my life. A new year of blessings, happiness and journey. I cannot believe I am 33 really. Seems like it was yesterday when I turned 18. Just dreaming..haha! Well, I am so thankful to God that I reached this age. He has showered me lots of blessings like my loving family, friends, life, good health and many others. There is nothing more I could ask for before I have almost every thing that I will cherish and love. Even though my mother passed away, her memories will remained forever in my heart. Her teachings and the values that she taught me.

Now that I am 33, I wish to be happy, and receiving more blessings from above to share it to my family. They are my inspiration and my strength in life. Of course good health for me because I am not getting any younger and I easily get sick. I hate to be sick that is why I am praying that I will always have good health. And lastly, I wish to be more determined to lose weight this time. I really needed it for myself and for health reason. It is not easy to say no to those tempting foods right in front of me. I so wish that I am able to handle this temptation to get what I wanted which is to lose weight and burn the fats in my belly. Wish me luck guys.

It is best to have father figure in the house

Single parent/mother is not new to us. Children being born out of wedlock is very common nowadays. This is because some individuals are not responsible enough to accept the responsibility after the wrong doing. I say wrong doing because they are doing it without thinking thoroughly the outcome of such impulsive decision/s. This is what I have noticed from the generations today. The guy who runaway from his responsibility is a coward. Well, we cannot force someone to be responsible if he himself is not responsible enough to handle his own life. Just sad that, one precious life is being put in the situation where no father to raise them.

A father’s presence in the family is very important. As they called to be the wall of the house. But if the father runaway from his responsibility, it is so different story and affects the life of a child as he/she grows old. The absence of the father can lead to social nightmares such as son with guns or violent one and daughter’s early pregnancy. Though this is case to case bases, but most of the time this is so true. It is really best if there is father figure in the family because a mother can do both. There are limitations when it comes to raising the child. A father provides strong foundation of a child which the mother finds it hard to do because mother usually has soft-heart. So, to all the guys out there, be responsible enough in every decision that you make and be a man to take the responsibilities because your presence at home is very much important.

Joining giveaways and contest is fun

Another way of earning money online is by joining different giveaways and contests. This giveaways and contests are being used by the host to promote their website/s. I must say this is good way for gaining more traffic to their website/s. Many entrants loves to join giveaways and contests especially if the prizes are so tempting. Well, every prizes in the giveaways and contests are tempting and so it is worth it to join. Though I am not interested first because I do not have much luck every time I joined contests even before. It is so frustrating for a hopefuls like me, especially if I so love the prizes. Well, losing is normal because in a contest not all are winners.

Every time I do blog hopping, I bumped into websites that is having a giveaways and contest. I read the mechanics and also the entrants comments and I find it interesting. Added to that are the prizes that are up for grabs. I just can’t resists that is why I am trying my luck for the first time. It was really meant to be I guess because I won the first prize. Speechless and I am shocked because I did not expect it. I joined very late and it is purely for fun. I guess luck is on my side that time. Since then I always joined giveaways and contests online. Win or lose, I will still be joining again because it is really fun. And it will be double the fun if you win.

Wanted a cake on her birthday

In a few days the niece will be celebrating her 7th birthday. She is happy and excited about her birthday. They are not use to having a party, to her a simple cake and dinner with the whole family is more than enough. This is how we and her family brought them up because having party is expensive. I am glad that the niece is not too ambitious when it comes to parties. They raise up simple and will grow up simple as well. I am a proud aunt I must say because I am part of training them to be as simple and responsible person.

The niece simple wish to have a cake on her birthday will be granted by yours truly. It would make her day perfect when the cake is around. Well, kids are kids. I remember her telling her parents that if there is no cake on the table, there is no birthday celebration. haha! So, her wish is my command and thanks to blogging earning because I get to buy the niece a cake on her special day. The cake would be my surprise birthday present for and I am pretty sure that she would love it. Happy Birthday Ella!

Holiday Vacation

After the Christmas, I decided to stay away from the computer for awhile to rest and enjoy the holiday vacation. I was busy preparing things for the Christmas Eve and for the 1st birthday of my nephew. Plus I am blogging, I feel exhausted. I guess I need a break to be rest and get enough of sleep. Doing many things at day time and sleep very late to do my blogging career, makes me so tired. I feel I am being so unfair to myself that is why I decided to be off from the computer for a week. My body needs a bit pampering and be taken care of. No, I am not going anywhere, just stay at home and do a lot of sleeping, resting and relaxing.

While I am away from my computer and do less household chores, I feel rejuvenated. I regain the energy and strength that I have lost preparing the events for the holiday. I am back and will do blogging again. I missed blogging for past days, but no regrets because I did have give myself a very nice pampering. While on holiday vacation, I have made some decisions and changes on my routine. Hopefully I can pursue it and make it happen for better me.

Foods to put on our table

In a few hours from now, we will be celebrating Christmas Eve. The brother and I are thinking of what would be the foods that we are going to prepare for the family to share tonight. We were thinking of cooking seafood this time since we have not tried it for years. Oh well, we are not into seafood that much. But I guess this time we have to go for seafood since the father is not allowed to eat pork and other fatty foods. It is not good for his health according to his doctor. Though we still have pork dish, but only one just to have a bit fatty to take.haha!

Now, I can tell that preparing seafood dish is a bit hard compared to pork and beef. Maybe because I am not used to cooking seafood. It would be easy if I have cook book to follow. Well, the brother does know a bit magic in the kitchen. He will do the honor and I will be doing the dessert to take after the dinner. The dinner tonight would be a sumptuous one. New dish to put on our table to share, fruits and the family’s favorite dessert. Merry Christmas everyone!
